What that is worth a year, today
No-show and missed-call calculator
What is the phone costing you?
Not our averages — your lesson price, your after-hours calls and your own no-shows. We do not tell you what a no-show is worth on average, because we have not verified that number and you already know yours. The card fee and our own fee are subtracted, because a number that leaves those out is a sales pitch, not a calculation.
With a site that books and reminds
more in your account in the first year, after our fee and after the card fees.

What is in the number
Every assumption, written down
A calculator that hides its assumptions can produce whatever number it likes. Here are ours, including the ones that work against us.
What we subtract
Our own fee comes off the total
The setup fee lands in the first year and the subscription in every year. Both are taken off before we call anything a gain. The card fee is there too — it goes to Stripe, never to us. If what is left is negative, the page says so in plain words.
What we refuse to assume
We do not tell you what a no-show is worth
You will see figures quoted around this industry — so much lost per instructor per day. We have not verified any of them, so we are not going to build your decision on one. Every number above is yours, and the only thing we compute is the consequence.
What we do not count
No made-up upside
No extra students because the website looks better, no higher prices, no “SEO uplift”. Only two things move: enquiries that can book instead of waiting, and lessons a reminder saves. If the site brings more than that — and it usually brings some — that is on top and not in this number.
Where it is conservative
A recovered lesson is counted once
A student who books a first lesson because they could do it at 10pm usually buys more than one. We count the first and stop. Packages, repeat lessons and the road-test rental are all real and none of them are in here.
Not tax advice and not an offer. Sales tax and any state licence cost are left out, because they are the same either way. The domain (about $12 a year) is paid by you to the registrar. Prices are in US dollars.
